Children of the World
Each new day, the sun arises,
Spreading warmth over all the earth.
Young and old share in this same light,
All are children of the world.
We are brothers, we are sisters,
We are children of the world,
Not by blood or name or nation, but the bonds of life we share,
When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,
We’re a family together,
We’re children of the world.
Of the world.
Lighting sparks and heaven thunders,
Pouring rain over all the land,
All may drink this precious water,
Who are children of the world.
We are brothers, we are sisters,
We are children of the world,
Not by blood or name or nation, but the bonds of life we share,
When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,
We’re a family together,
We’re children of the world.
Of the world.
We laugh, We love and live and breathe,
We cry, We help a friend in need.
We are brothers, we are sisters,
We are children of the world,
Not by blood or name or nation, but the bonds of life we share,
When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,
We’re a family together,
We’re children of the world.
Of the world.
We’re children of the world.
The world.
