Each new day, the sun arises,

Spreading warmth over all the earth.

Young and old share in this same light,

All are children/ of the world.

We are brothers, we are sisters.

We are children of the world,

Not by blood or name or nation,

but the bonds of life we share,

When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,

We’re a family together,

Lightning sparks and heaven thunders,

Pouring rain over all the land,

All may drink this precious water,
