You Can Do a Boogie to the Music

You can do a boogie to the music that you’re singing

When the tune is groovy you can move all around.

It’s the kind of feeling that the melody is bringing

Clap your hands and make a beautiful sound.

Listen to the tune and then you sing along and

Make it a song.

Don’t be scared, it’s fun to swing and easy to join in.

Sing!

You can do a boogie to the music that you’re singing

When the tune is groovy you can move all around.

It’s the kind of feeling that the melody is bringing

Clap your hands and make a beautiful sound.

Michael Finnigan, This Old man

Michael Finnigan

There was an old man called Michael Finnigan,

He grew whiskers on his chin-i-gan

The wind came up and blew them in-a-gan

Poor old Michael Finnigan! Begin- a- gan-

This old man

This old man, he played one,

He played nick nack on my drum

With a nick nack, paddy whack, give a dog a bone,

This old man came rolling home

George's Marvellous Medicene

So give me a bug and a jumping flea,

Give me two snails and lizards three,

And a slimy squiggler from the sea,

And the poisonous sting of a

bumblebee,

And the juice from the fruit of the ju-jube

tree,

And the powdered bone of a

wombat’s knee.

And one hundred other things /as well

Each with a rather nasty smell.

I’ll stir them up, I’ll boil them long,

A mixture tough, a mixture strong.

And then, heigh-ho, and down it goes,

A nice big spoonful (hold your nose)

Just gulp it down and have no fear.

“How do you like it, Granny dear?”

Will she go pop? Will she explode?

Will she go flying down the road?

Will she go poof in a puff of smoke?

Start fizzing like a can of Coke?

Who knows? Not I. Let’s wait and

see.

(I’m glad it’s neither you nor me).

Oh Grandma, if you only knew

What I have got in store for you!”

We are the Children of Nations School

We are the Children of Nations School

Give it 1…, give it 2…, give it 1-2-3!  (X 4)

We are the children of Nations school
We take a pride in the things we do.
Learning together and having fun,
Who’s for a good day? EVERYONE!

Give it 1…, give it 2…, give it 1-2-3! (x2)

Give it all you’ve got,
‘Cause you’ve really got a lot!
Give it heart, Give it mind,
Give it soul, don’t stop!

Give it all you’ve got,
‘Cause you’ve really got a lot!
Give it heart, Give it mind,
Give it soul, don’t stop!

Everyone is special,
Everybody has gifts,
So we’re gonna work together,
And we’re gonna learn to give!

Rasa Sayang

Rasa Sayang

Rasa Sayang eh,

Rasa Sayang, sayang eh.

He

Lihat nona jauh

Rasa Sayang, sayang eh !

Granny

Granny

Through every nook and every cranny,

The wind blew in on poor old Granny;

Around her knees, into each ear

And up her nose as well, I fear.

All through the night the wind grew worse,

It nearly made the vicar curse.

The top had fallen off the steeple,

Just missing him (and other people).

It blew on man, it blew on beast,

It blew on a nun, it blew on a priest,

It blew the wig off Aunty Fanny,

But most of all, it blew on Granny!

Children of The World

Children of the World

Each new day, the sun arises,

Spreading warmth over all the earth.

Young and old share in this same light,

All are children of the world.

We are brothers, we are sisters,

We are children of the world,

Not by blood or name or nation, but the bonds of life we share,

When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,

We’re a family together,

We’re children of the world.

Of the world.

Lighting sparks and heaven thunders,

Pouring rain over all the land,

All may drink this precious water,

Who are children of the world.

We are brothers, we are sisters,

We are children of the world,

Not by blood or name or nation, but the bonds of life we share,

When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,

We’re a family together,

We’re children of the world.

Of the world.

We laugh, We love and live and breathe,

We cry, We help a friend in need.

We are brothers, we are sisters,

We are children of the world,

Not by blood or name or nation, but the bonds of life we share,

When we celebrate our differences we find we’re much the same,

We’re a family together,

We’re children of the world.

Of the world.

We’re children of the world.

The world.
