One Song videos and lyrics

One Song

One Song with lyrics

"One Song"
If we all sing one song
One song of love
One song of peace
One song to make all our troubles cease
One hymn, one theme, one hope, one dream
Imagine what tomorrow would bring
If we all sing one song

If we all learn the words
Just think how great the sound would be
And since the tune is in freedom's key
One voice you'd hear, so pure, so clear
Imagine what tomorrow would bring
If we all sing one song

There's just one sun that warms our day
The same moon and stars light our way
This little ball whirling in space
It's our only home, our only place

If we all sing one song
One song of love
One song of peace
One song to make all our troubles cease
Imagine what tomorrow would bring
Just imagine what tomorrow would bring
Just imagine what tomorrow would bring
If we all sing
If we all sing
One Song!
One Song!

Another op'nin', another show lyrics

Another op'nin', another show
In Geneva or Baltimoe,
A chance for stagefolks to say "hello"
Another openin’ of another show.

Another job that you hope, at last,
Will make your future forget your past,
Another pain where the ulcers grow,
Another op'nin', of another show.

Four weeks, you rehearse and rehearse,
Three weeks and it couldn't be worse.
One week, will it ever be right?
Then out o' the hat, it's that big first night!

The overture is about to start,
You cross your fingers and hold your heart,
It's curtain time and away we go,(to 2nd ending)
Another op'nin', of another show.

Another op'nin', another show
In Geneva or Baltimoe,
A chance for stagefolks to say "hello"
Another op'nin', another show.

I like bananas (year 3 only)

I don’t like your peaches
They are full of stones,
I like bananas,
Because they have no bones,
Don’t give me tomatoes,
Don’t like ice cream cones,
I like bananas,
Because they have no bones,

No matter where I go,
To all my favourite places,
I want the world to know,
I must have my bananas,

Cabbages and onions
Hurt my singing tones
I like bananas
Because they have no bones!

Hup 2,3,4 (year 3 only)

Hup, two, three, four,

Look to the left and look to the right
And off we go, and hold on tight!

Eyes to the ceiling, eyes to the floor,

And off we go, and hup, two, three, four.

O bruit doux de la pluie (year 4 only)

O bruit doux de la pluie,
Par terre et sur les toits.
Pour un cœur qui s’ennuie.

Oh, le chant de la pluie.

Kookaburra

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Merry, merry king of the bush is he
Laugh, Kookaburra! Laugh, Kookaburra!

Gay your life must be

You've got a friend in me with lyrics

You've got a friend in me lyrics. Click here for the video link

You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
When the road looks rough ahead
And you're miles and miles
From your nice warm bed
You just remember what your old pal said
Boy, you've got a friend in me
Yeah, you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got troubles, and I've got 'em too
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you
We stick together and can see it through
'Cause you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
Some other folks might be
A little bit smarter than I am
Bigger and stronger too, maybe
But none of them will ever love you
The way I do, it's me and you, boy
And as the years go by
Our friendship will never die
You're gonna see it's our destiny
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me

We’re nearly at the end of a lovely show

We’re nearly at the end of a lovely show,
We’ve had a lot of fun, and we want you to know,
We did it for you!
We did it for you!

We really, really hope that you enjoyed it too!

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

It's Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Um-diddle-iddle-diddle
Um-diddle-I
Um-diddle-iddle-diddle
Um-diddle-I

Because I was afraid to speak
When I was just a lad
Me father gave me nose a tweak
And told me I was bad
But then one day I learned a word
That saved me aching nose
The biggest word you ever heard
And this is how it goes:

Oh, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Even though the sound of it
Is something quite atrocious
If you say it loud enough
You'll always sound precocious
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

We are the ones

We Are the Ones

a song composed by Year 4 students, November 2014

CHORUS
We are, we are the ones who work
We are, we are the ones who play
We are, we are the ones who dream,
Every day.

School is where we come to learn
Languages and art.
Communication is the key
To unlock our heart

CHORUS
We are, we are the ones who work
We are, we are the ones who play
We are, we are the ones who dream,
Every day.

We create and we connect
With energy and pride.
Any day and any time
Our soul will be our guide

CHORUS
We are, we are the ones who work
We are, we are the ones who play
We are, we are the ones who dream,
Every day.

We encourage everyone,
Whether big or small,
Live for peace at Nations school
And for one and all

CHORUS
We are, we are the ones who work
We are, we are the ones who play
We are, we are the ones who dream,
Every day.

CLAP RHYTHM OF CHORUS

Lots of people work so hard
Every day and night,
Parents, teachers, principals
Keep us shining bright

CHORUS (plus CLAPS on last line!)
We are, we are the ones who work
We are, we are the ones who play
We are, we are the ones who dream,

Every day. (x2)
