The Water Cycle song

THE WATER CYCLE SONG - TAKE ME TO THE WATER

The Water cycle song. Take me to the water (PLEASE USE ECHO TRACK FOR PRACTISING)

Take me to the river wash me down, down
I’m the water cycle flowing round and round,
Rivers into seas, seas into the sky until the clouds burst,
And then it all falls down

When the sun heats up the ocean there’s a nifty kind of motion
Vapour rising up into the sky
Liquid turns to gas, then back again on mass
And clouds appear before our very eyes

This is called condensation, atmospheric decoration,
Nature’s chillin’ out and making art,
Dripping down your glass, dew upon the grass,
And temperature and pressure play a part.

Take me to the river wash me down, down
I’m the water cycle flowing round and round
Rivers into seas, seas into the sky until the clouds burst,
And then it all falls down

Drip drop drip when precipitation hits
Rain and snow come pouring from the sky
Water falling down to rivers on the ground
The water cycle’s going round and round

Before the final chorus there’s a porous stage before us
Earth’s plantation gives us transpiration
Stomata on the leaves of every plant is sweating out
Vapour rising up, on a water roundabout!

Take me to the river wash me down, down
I’m the water cycle flowing round and round
Rivers into seas, seas into the sky until the clouds burst,
And then it all falls down
It all falls down
It all falls down

I’m the water cycle flowing round and round.
